Bible Note: Greetings JMScott! You are correct - Luke did write Acts. You are also correct that Luke traveled with Paul. There are certain sections of Acts, like 16:10-40; 20:5-28:31, which are written as "we" sections. Acts 13 doesn't appear to be a section where Luke was with Paul at the time, but Paul probably told him what happened. I'm not sure which translations you are refering to that say 'will raise from the dead'. Everyone I checked in 1 Cor. 15:1-4 and Acts 17:31 all translated the word as 'raised' - in the past tense.
