Bible Note: WOS, Just so happens I was preparing for a Sunday School lesson a few weeks ago and the lesson was in Acts. Although it did not cover this passage of scripture I was reading through several chapters and came across this passage. One of the commentaries I looked at pointed to the Noahic Covenant (Genesis 9) (?) I'm no expert on the scriptures and know less about the OT then the NT but are we not still under the Noahic covenant? Also, I've been trying to research the Noahic Covenant and understand it better and based on what I have found so far I'm not even sure what verses this would include. I've seen it listed as Genesis 9 and also Genesis 8:20—9:17. Genesis 9:4 is what the commentary was pointing to regarding Acts 15:20 that got me interested in your post. I expect to learn something from this post as I'm sure the more learned among us will help me on this but I found the post interesting as I was just recently looking at it so I jumped feet first just to get these thoughts / questions out there :-) If not for His grace, could I stand at all?
