Subject: The purposes of God? |
Bible Note: Hi Tim, I really do appreciate your explaining all of this to me and the rest of the forum. Could I get your reaction to another comparison of Scriptures? In my personal study I have linked "He Himself" found in the following verses with the idea of John 10:30 that "I and the Father are one." I would go to the NASB for this discussion. Acts 20:35, "In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Mark 4:38, "And He Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him/, and said to Him, "Teacher, do (You) not care that we are perishing?" Is the rendering of "He Himself" for these verses of the NASB in that same "intensive" manner? From the heart, Ray |
