Subject: Have I misunderstood your question? |
Bible Note: Hi Jim! John 14:23 is an excellent example of what I was saying. John 14:23 - Jesus replied, ‘‘If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Clearly, Jesus is refering to two members of the Godhead in this verse. In fact, He refers to them both in the plural - 'we will come' and 'we will make our home'. This verse cannot be explained as two modes or offices of God. Thanks for your input! Tim Moran |
