Bible Note: May I suggest to you that the only worthwhile objective of a "sincere student of the Bible" is to get to know the Author better, day by day. Our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ is not about ritual or scholarship; it is about relationship. Oftentimes, we cover-up our lack of relationship with the Lord by exalting our selves through religiosity and other intellectual pursuits cloaked under the deceptive garb of pseudo-spirituality. I pray, Hank, that you are not one of those who have never had an intimate encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. You sound really smart (I'm impressed), but the Lord has said through His servant Paul, "Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." - 1 Cor 3:18-19 respectfully (a fool for Christ), prazn |
