Bible Question (short): What is truth? |
Question (full): Dear Forum: In John 18:38 Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" On this forum we have many different and opposing points of view on critical issues, yet each of these views is being offered as the truth. One says baptism is necessary for salvaton; another says no, not so, faith alone is sufficient. One says man has free will; another says no, he does not. One says the believer has eternal security; another says no, you can lose your salvation unless you do good works. The list of opposing viewpoints is virtually endless. Can two points of view both be true when they say opposite things? So, Forum, what IS truth and how do we find it and recognize it when we see it? --Hank |
