Bible Question:
John 15:8 (NASB) "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples." The desire is to bear much fruit! The question is, if we find ourselves in a place where not much fruit or perhaps no fruit is being produced that perhaps it is God's way of telling us to move on? Steve |
Bible Answer: Steve, Reading Chapters 14, 15 and 16 the context is before Christ's dead. Verse 25 says "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father." Christ's talks about believing in Him and about keeping His commandments in these chapters. So my question is, is the fruit He is talking about would that be believers who believe as a result of their going and telling the message of Christ's death, burial and resurrection?
