Bible Note: He who has seen Yahshua has seen the Father When Yahshua said, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father." He was not saying that He Himself was Father Yahweh. When Yahshua said, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?", He was referring to Himself. Note the entire context from which this passage is taken. I would also ask that you also take into consideration the entire context of Yahweh's Word in whole. Yahshua proclaimed that He was the way, the truth, and the life and that no man comes unto Father Yahweh except THROUGH Him. The words that Yahshua spoke were not His own, but those of Father Yahweh (John 5: 30 and 8:50). Note also in the context of John 14 Yahshua says the same thing in verse 10. Yahshua clearly explains what He means in His statments to Philip in verse 10. He said, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me?" When Yahshua said this He was not saying He was Father Yahweh. Note in verse 17 that Father Yahweh can be in us just as He was in His Son Yahshua. This is the Spirit of Truth which is Yahweh's Set Apart ("Holy") Spirit (cf. verses 14:16, 15:26 and 16:7). Father Yahweh is NOT His Anointed Son Yahshua! http://www.freewebs.com/frank4yahweh/index.htm |
