Bible Note: Hi Tara, You know that the 'J' was originally a 'Y' sound in the Hebrew, right? For example the 'j' in Hallelujah is pronounced as a 'y' sound. When you pronounce Joshua the 'o' is an 'a' sound as in our Heavenly Father and Creator's Name Yahweh. So, His Son's Name is pronounced Yahshua. I beleive that names should be transliterated and not translated. When I listen to a foreign broadcast on my short wave radio I frequintly hear names transliterated for example. I am so glad that you have come to the understanding that Father Yahweh is not His Son Yahshua. |
