Subject: Whose baptism? |
Bible Note: Dear Love Fountain, The subject is could Saul in ISam. have been born of the water and the Spirit. The reason that I bring up the offerings and sacrifices is because I am trying to show you a pattern. Before Jesus came, no one could be born again. Why? Because Jesus had not paid the debt of sin yet. If Saul was offerings burnt offerings for what ever reason, this automatically tells you there is sin in him. Being born of the Holy Spirit means that Christ has killed the old man and created a man inside of us. This new man is created in the express image and likeness of God. God also burns the evil sin that was once in us. Where was the sin in us? The sin was in our heart and mind. This is why God put his law in our mind and heart. This is the reason why a man mind has to be renewed. Then the Holy Spirit dwells in that man and gives him strength. The more he learns spiritually the more he grows. The more he grows the strength he has. This is the only way a man can live right. If Saul was born of water and Spirit, How come he could live holy. In the Old Testament the fullness of the God head was not yet revealed. Can you show me anywhere in the Old Testament where the author writes that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God? The people knew that a Savior was coming but they didn't know that God was coming himself. This is why the Israelites reject Jesus today because he confesses to be the Christ. Now in John 17:5-8, This is Jesus speaking himself. Andrew jr. |
