Bible Question:
San Lukas, do you understand what they are saying? Do you agree? I know that sometimes its hard to understand whats going on in the bible because it jumps around. In regards to your first question, the two verses do are not a contradiction because they are not referring to the same matter. The first verse , Isa:43:11, is the Lord telling us that besides Him, there is no other power that can save us. Meaning That if you don't come to the Lord God, you cannot be saved. Now Jesus, who is also called the son of God, is God in human-form. God sent himself to us so that he could understand our plight. So because Jesus came, we can be saved. Jesus, who is God, is the only way to be saved. No other gods can save you. |
