Bible Note: Greetings Isa! My friend, this is the second time you have tried to deny that Jesus is God. I notice that in your analysis of John 1:1-14 that you leave out one very important phrase, "....and the Word was God." John 1 goes against everything that you are trying to say about Jesus. He didn't come into existence, He has always been. He isn't a seperate entity from God, He is God. He isn't a subordinate being, He was the active agent in all of creation. And, this is not the only place in Scripture where Jesus is identified as God. Consider the following: 1) Titus 2:13 says, "while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ," In this verse, Jesus is called both God and Savior. 2) Luke 8:39 says, "‘Return home and tell how much God has done for you.' So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him." The man from whom the demons had been cast was specifically told to go and tell the people how much God had done for him, but he tells them how much Jesus had done for him. Clearly the two are equated. 3) Col. 1:15-19 says of Jesus, "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him," This is a powerful statement that Jesus is God. 4) Col. 2:9 says of Jesus, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form," There is only one God, and JESUS IS GOD incarnate.
