Bible Note: Hi Vincent, That’s a real bummer!! What you’ve got, if those are all the facts, is a real bad case of injustice and I feel sorry for your grief, we sure don’t live in a perfect world to say the least. I can sure tell you this for sure though, others aren’t going to be responsible for you eternal future by any stretch of the imagination. The Good news is this; the Bible clearly tells us that Jesus, God’s Son, paid for all of your sins, past, present and future. Speaking of Jesus, 1 John 2:2 He is the sacrifice for our sins. He takes away not only our sins but the sins of all the world. Jesus did that for us, and if a person will put “all of their hope” in what Jesus did for them, God says He will credit the very righteousness of Jesus to our account. That’s God working on your behalf in spite of a bad situation; your sins. 2 Cor. 5:21 He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. God personally paid the price for you that amounted to a lot more then a vehicular violation. Further God says that if you believe in, trust in and have faith in His Son, Jesus the Christ, He, God, will give you the “free” gift of eternal life, i.e. it can’t be earned or worked for, its God’s grace gift to you. Ephes. 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Here is a “promise” from the Judge of the highest court in existence. John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." Why don’t you turn a bad situation, the injustice that come your way in to a good outcome and tell God that you are going to trust Jesus for your eternal life and cause it to be a blessing for you? Again I’m sorry about the improper justice you received! Read the Gospel of John, it’s the forth book in the New Testament, and have a great day, CDBJ |
