Bible Note: Hi Emmaus, I think that it is good to apply the Scriptures to our lives and see the application for the people in that day as well. However, the main focus should be on what this Man is claiming. We need to see Him as the Teacher in the synagogue, as the Physician who heals mind and spirit, as well as the Prophet who has a message for their lives.
