Bible Question:
What is to ask and receive the Holy Spirit? Does that happen only once or many times in different dosages? (to those who ask and continue to ask Him!) Thank you, Finder |
Bible Answer: When a person confesses that Jesus Christ as their Lord, they recieve the Spirit of Truth within themselves. However, there is a secondary baptism ( which means immersion ) in the Holy Ghost which comes after you believed upon the name of JEsus (Acts 2:1-4 ) When you recieve something from God, you recieve it, however we know that man can backslide, and fall away from God.. so I would assume if you get into that condition, then the HOly Ghost will not be dwelling within you. But as for a Christian, they don't have to ask everyday to be filled. It is never bad to ask for more of God in your life, but once you recieve the Holy Ghost, as they did in Acts 2:4, they had the Holy Ghost, And what do you mean by different dosages?
