Some may view Jesus' removal of the eye (Matt 5:29) as not being literal. 2-If promises are not continual and for all people could that also apply to reprimands written for specific conditions which are not in relation to sin? ... While some promises/ penalties are not for all people or time, we can learn, even apply from the results. That includes what has happened to Israel and others. S |
