Bible Question: Jesus separated from the Trinity? I don't quite understand your meaning, Mike. Did He return to the Trinity? In Christ Jesus. |
Bible Answer: Though Christ has always been -- and will always be -- the Word of God, and in fact God Himself (John 1:1), it was essential to salvation that He *experience* death and Hell as a man. Though God was with Him -- just as God is always with us -- Christ felt the weight of sin and death as a man would feel them. In that dark moment of crucifixion, our God fully experienced death as a man. |
