Bible Question:
Does this verse mean that we should not preach against the sins of others because we will be guilty of "Judging" others? I have heard this scripture quoted many times from "church go'ers". John the baptist was beheaded after preaching against sin. Was he wrong? Pastor Glenn |
Bible Answer: "John the baptist was beheaded after preaching against sin. Was he wrong?" ... And Jesus was crucified. Was He wrong? The verse you cite does not prohibit the preaching of the gospel certainly, and how can one preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and preach FOR sin? Clearly the Bible does not promote sin; it teaches against all forms of it; so then, how can one teach and preach the Bible without condemning sin? --Hank |
