Bible Note: Greetings Radioman! Thanks for the response! I have always struggled with this passage. I have read just about every "take" on it, but I have really found one that seems to do justice to what it appears to be saying. The best I've been able to come up with is that our forgiveness of others and God's forgivness of us is connected in the following way: Those who are unable to forgive, either haven't been or won't be forgiven. If they had, forgiveness would be evident in their lives. Honestly, I don't know though. I'm just not satisfied with interpetations that say, "It doesn't really mean we won't be forgiven".
