Bible Question (short): Difference bet. swearing and making oath |
Question (full): What is the difference between swearing and making an oath? Matt 5:33 says do not break oaths made to the Lord. Matt 5:34, however, says do not swear at all for it is God's throne. Can anyone provide with a clear explaination. The previous postings did not provide me with a clear understanding. His Blessings. |
