Subject: What was the point of the temptation ? |
Bible Note: Greetings friend, Let me see if I’m reading this right? I said, “why do you keep reading it”, and you say as a result that I’m the following; “If you intend to be a jerk again and ask insulting questions like the one you did, then keep your comments to yours.” I believe you are the one that claimed the following, and as a result you are insinuating that God’s Word is a lie on one point or the other? You stated, with reference to the temptation of Christ. “If Jesus could not in some form give into temptation, then there was no temptation. And if there was no temptation, then Hebrew 4:15 is a pure lie.” I might be a jerk but do you thank it’s possible that you might not fully understand something in God’s Word. It’s not a good idea to assume that one is right and God’s word is wrong! That might not be what you were thinking but that’s sure what you put in print. 1 Cor. 14:36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? Someone once said that when we point the finger at some one there are always four pointing back at us. Thanks for the personal assessment and I forgive you anyway, CDBJ |
