Bible Note: Hello Steve; I have been reading threw the string again, and I'm thinking that I'm not reading your posts carefully. my position is that I believe that Jesus defiantly could be tempted. Only "not" the way that we could. originally I was using the wrong terminology i.e. "sin nature" I see now that was wrong. i.e. desire to lye, cheat, steal, etc. for personal benefit. His was not that at all, and I was never really implying that. Not to say, that I thought, that you thought, that I thought that...I'm Just making that point for clarity. And any way, I think that at this point it may be erelivant. "Sin nature" is simply not the way to put it! I wish I'd not said that, as it has caused some dispute that I had not intended. And I'm not sure that I'd cleared that up sufficiently, for you, or for all who may be reading this.....I hope I have done so. So, what I think you are saying is that you agree that Jesus could be tempted? And in a way that would be a conscious effort for Him? Actual strugle, so He could really and truly simpithize in a very real way? Peace stj |
