Subject: Did Jesus suffer from depression? |
Bible Note: Prayon, thank you for responding. I hated to ask because I couldn’t visualize my Lord suffering from depression, yet, according to one study aid – it says “ademoneho” (troubled) is defined “to be troubled, great distress or anguish, depressed.” It adds, “This is the strongest of the three Greek words in the New Testament for depression.” I hope that you can see why I was “troubled” and therefore asked the question. I've often wondered if depression was sin - or merely the result of "the battle". T’oma |
