Bible Question:
Suzyq, The thing you referred to as "willfull ignorance", is it based on the scripture? Can you provide me the biblical reference? I am NOT proving out. I am just purely curious. |
Bible Answer: 2 Peter 3:5 (KJV) Reads, "For this they willingly are ignorant of ...". The context is the return of the Lord to take His disciples to be with Him forever. Scoffers were denying this would happen while they were "willingly ignorant" of the time of Noah and the flood which destroyed the world. When He comes "the heavens and the earth, which are now, ... are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of Judgement and destruction of ungodly men ..." See 2 Peter 3:3-14. |
