Bible Question:
If I am a born again christian, and have fallen back into the flesh or worldly sins, will God forgive me of sins?I still struggle with the same sins, but it is so hard.I pray for the forgiveness and strength, but I do still sin. Will I be forgiven?I read that it is 7 times harder to come back to the Lord and it is but I refuse to give up.Will I be forgiven is my question? Bible Answer: Jeannie, Matt 18:21-22 Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven. Would the Lord do less than he asks of us if we repent? When you fall, get up, confess your sin and keep running the race. I doubt there are many on this forum who do not have some besetting fault or sin that they have struggled with for years. Do not despair. Start again. Emmaus |
