AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 16:24 ¶ Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. |
Bible Question: When a couple who is not married, yet having sex together, can they be truthfully and rightfully refused baptism, or communion? |
Bible Answer: SATNJ: Why would anyone involved with unrepented willful sin, which Jesus is against, want to be baptized or thake part in the Lords supper? If the pastor of these people don't bluntly give these two the Scripture and the warnings and allows these two to participate in baptism and the Lords Supper then the Pastor is as guilty as the two fornicators are. This problem is one reason our country is in such a mess. No longer stand against sex before marrage, or living together, or homosexuality. Sin is now a watered down version of a "mistake". Sounds better and is less offensive. If you are one of the two involved in this sin than make a change now before it's too late. justme |
