You are the "original" Question Asker. :-) Therefore, it should be up to you whether or not the subject gets changed. No, I do not believe that Peter's salvation was in question, and I do not believe that Peter was in any way "controlled" by Satan when he spoke his words to Jesus in Matt. 16:23. I simply believe that Peter was concerned for Christ, but erred miserably in the fact that he was giving advice to thwart God's eternal purpose without even knowing it.
