Bible Question:
Emmaus, Did you say that what the Bible said about mary is wrong? and the source that you have was the ultimate true. Then the author of the books like Matthew that mentioned that joseph "knew" her wife mary after her firstborn Jesus Christ is a liar? Mt 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. God bless, |
Bible Answer: Johhny, No, I did not say that the Bible lied as you very well know. You are bearing false witness against me by the very manner in which you ask the question after having received my previous answer. What I am saying is that I believe you are misinterpreting what the Bible says and are reading more into the text than what it says. Have you yet found what I asked you to find: any verse that descibes anyone as a "son of Mary" or a "daughter of Mary" other than Jesus? I am not alone in my understanding of the scripture on this point. Are you aware that those great reformers Luther and Calvin and Zwingli also understood the Scripture in the same way that I do on this question? Read the article on the link below and you will see the explanation of why I and your friends Luther, Calvin and Zwingli take the position that you oppose. http://www.catholic.com/library/Brethren_of_the_Lord.asp Emmaus |
