Bible Note: You misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying that in v49 Jesus calls His disciples His brothers. My point is, why did he have to make such a distinction IF the people were telling Him that His disciples were outside? The 'brothers' outside could not have been His disciples, so we can eliminate that as one of the possible meanings of 'brother' in verse 47. That's all I was saying. James |
