Subject: Are "careless words" sin? |
Bible Note: Yes, we dare not limit what God can and can not do, but He has given us His Word so we CAN know more than we do right now. Indeed, study and pray. Perhaps you'll be inclinded to take a look at end time events. I agree, the future will unfold in God's way and in His timing. Being a literalist, do consider the 1000 year reign of Christ, what happens next? God's Word tells us simply and plainly in Rev 20. 'Looking at Scripture as a whole, the kingdom will be inhabited in the beginning by two categories of saints. First, there will be resurrected saints in glorified bodies like that of our Lord (Phil. 3:21). This will include Old Testament saints, church age saints (the bride of Christ), and Tribulation martyrs. Second, there will be those Tribulation saints who escaped death and were preserved through the Tribulation to go into the kingdom of our Lord (Matt. 24:13; 25:10, 30, 32-34; Rev. 14:1). These believers will have mortal bodies like ours today and during the course of the Millennium they will beget children. These children will also, regardless of the personal and glorious presence of Christ, need to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior by faith. This fact will provide the potential for a third category of people in the Millennium, unbelievers in mortal bodies, men and women susceptible to the deceptions of Satan. These will form the constituency for the last-time revolt under Satan’s final deception.' (www.bible.org/studies/nt/books/rev/jhk3/rev-30.htm ) After this, those who are faithful to Christ on the earth are separated out as you noted in your prior post and the dead are judged and forever removed from the presence of God.
