Bible Note: Amen Sister, No problem understanding your reason for saying that a orthodox follower of the Torah would be deemed as someone who would receive a stringer. I was not questioning that at all, and although it is not specifically spelled out in the context of Matt 10, and therefore might be construed as speculation, It would not be a stretch, I think, to come to that conclusion, i.e. a worthy house would be one that was following the law and therefor would be welcoming to the stranger.
