Bible Question: Why did Daniel consider eating and drinking the king's choice food and wine would defile him? |
Bible Answer: cklam Historically and rountinely the kings food was first offered or presented to idols. Secondly it probably contained unclean food. Jews would never touch food that wasn't properly prepared by hand that weren't first washed and etc. EdB |
