Subject: Must Christians keep the Sabbath today? |
Bible Note: It seems that people are contradicting between the did of Law and faith. As we know that in the Letter of Ap.Paul to the church in Roman he said that we are saved by grace through faith but not through our did and therefore in his second letter to Corinthian chepter 5verse 7 he said that we are leaving according to our faith and not our dids. This proof that christian are not binded by the Sabath laws even if the law itself is holy. We are told that in the letter to Galatian all who are with faith are the son of Abraham because he was accepted by God to be his friend before he siccumstiesed. To keep the law by our own phisycal ability is to abuse the work of cross which our Lord Jesus was crusified. we can learn from the gospel in the book of mathias chapter 1verse 20 to 21 that Jesus came to save us with our sin and then in the first letter of Ap.John he explained that Jesus came to distruct the work of satan which were shown in the letter of Ap.Paul to Roman chapter 7 and 8 which he said that it work in our fresh. Did he not said that in Galatian chepter 5 verse 16 that we are to live according to the leading of spirit and not our outor fresh.and the Sabbath laws were commanded to the fresh.as St.Paul said that the law itself were not revilled in spirit but in fresh. Jesus himself taught his discples about what God needs from man. |
