AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath [a day of rest dedicated] to the LORD your God; on that day you shall not do any work, you or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock or the temporary resident (foreigner) who stays within your [city] gates. |
Subject: Honor the Sabbath |
Bible Note: Since we are under Grace now, is it ok to go out and kill someone? Or how about lie? Or maybe commit adultry? I'm not saying that I'm under the law, I'm just saying that if you are following Christ, keeping his law will be a fruit of what you do. If you do away with the Sabbath, why do you not do away with the rest of the commandments also? |
