Subject: When do we become sinners? |
Bible Note: Greetings Steve! My friend, I agree with you that we are sinners from conception (Ps. 51). However, (oh no, the dreaded "but..." :-) ), I also believe that Christ's death atoned for all of our sins. My denomination phrases depravity this way: We are born depraved, but not culpable until we have the opportunity to accept or reject Christ. Besides, the mortal fate of the infants at Sodom doesn't necessarily speak to their eternal destinies. I approach this issue from both a Biblical and a experiential perspective.
