Bible Question: What is the difference between special revelation and general revelation? |
Bible Answer: Special revelation is things that are revealed to you from God through His Word, The Bible. Or (in the case before the New Testament was written.) it was when the Holy Spirit spoke through Prophets, Tongues, and miracles. General or Natural revelation is that what is obvious to the eye or senses. We know just by looking at the world, sun, sky, stars, and all living things and all creation that God is "I am!" That it just didn't appear out of nothing, as some evolutionist want to believe. Psalm 19:1-14 (NKJV) reveals these revelations well. In Christ, Mick |
