Subject: Are we back to the absurd view...? |
Bible Note: Greetings Disciplerami! I am glad that you are back. There is still my question about Acts 10 which you have never answered. Now, you have the opportunity. Acts 2:38, according to your interpretation, says that if one both repents and is baptized, that individual will then receive 'forgiveness of sins' and 'the gift of the Holy Spirit' Acts 10:45 specifically says that they had received 'the gift of the Holy Spirit', and then they were baptized because of that fact in Acts 10:47. How do you explain this? The Greek text is exactly the same! ;-) The English is excatly the same! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
