Bible Question: Help me understand why Is 45:11 is a question in some versions And a statement in others. |
Bible Answer: Greetings! Basically, there is no question mark in Hebrew. So, one has to make a judgement call based upon the context. In this case, God is either demanding them to ask or asking if they will ask. One would be a statement, while the other would be a question. Different translations have taken different approaches on this, so some have a question while others have a statement. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
