Bible Question:
I am confused (maybe it's becaues I haven't had coffee yet...smile), can you calrify your answer for me? Are you saying that God knew or did not know Adam was going to disobey Him? Are you saying that He knew those who were going to sin and that punishment was planned for those individuals? Forgive me if I seem a little dense, but I'm just trying to understand you. THANKS! |
Bible Answer: God knows everything, including the end from the beginning. ISAIAH 42:9 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you." ISAIAH 44:7 "Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; Yes, let him recount it to Me in order, From the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place. ISAIAH 45:11 Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands. ISAIAH 46 9 "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; ISAIAH 48 5 Therefore I declared them to you long ago, Before they took place I proclaimed them to you, So that you would not say, 'My idol has done them, And my graven image and my molten image have commanded them.' 6 "You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known. DANIEL 2 28 "However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed. 29 "As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals mysteries has made known to you what will take place. MATTHEW 6:8 "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Here's the kicker, He knew it would happen and yet He still created us. Based on Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. then the our falling is actually better in the end than if we hadn't. |
