Subject: Death penalty Biblical? |
Bible Note: You thinking is not logical. Why not have justice for the one who has been murdered rather than letting the murderer go free so that he may go on and kill again and again. The bible clearly says Thou shall not kill. When someone breaks that commandment there are consequences to their actions. The death penalty is used for the most terrible crimes. You can forgive them all you want but they have forfeited their right to live in society. The wages of sin is death. Death to a relationship, death to marriage, death to a murderer. If they repent, the Lord said He will forgive them but there are consequences they must face in this life. Do a word study on justice. It is most enlightening. |
