Bible Question: if God said that our age would be 120 years how come so few get there and Pslms 90:10 says that we live 70 to 80 years and even after the flood people lived past 120 years old does the word contrict itself? |
Bible Answer: There is no mystery here. God said it would be 120 years that he would let them live. After that he brought the flood. If you read it in context it is obvious. Only when people teach it or quote it in a sermon do people get this idea of it being a declaration of a lifespan of a human. Then once they have that in their minds they read it thay way and when someone says .. read the context and understand that the flood came 120 years later,,.. they are afraid to change their minds becuaes their pastor taught that this was a statement about lifespan and after all.. he is the pastor and he knows more.. etc etc. |
