AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 6:3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive and remain with man forever, because he is indeed flesh [sinful, corrupt--given over to sensual appetites]; nevertheless his days shall yet be a hundred and twenty years." |
Bible Question (short): What do the 120 years pertain to? |
Question (full): In Gen. 6:3, the Lord said that the days of man would be 120 years. So, my question is: Does the 120 pertains to the life of man before the flood or after? Because in Gen. 5:32 it says that Noah was 500 years old when he had his sons and in chapter 7:11 it states that Noah was 600 years old when he entered the ark. |
