Bible Question (short): why did they live past 120 years? |
Question (full): This bible verse (Gen 6:3) is stating that human beings shall only live to be 120 years, correct? Meaning God set the "age-limit" at 120 years. So how do you explain Shigechiyo Izumi (120 years 237 days), and Jeanne Louise Calment (122 years 164 days)? Both lived past the "age-limit". Does what God said just not mean anything; did these people really not live this long? I would greatly appreciate any help on this topic. |
