Bible Question:
Dear forum members, Why did God not have regard for Cain's offering? Was it heart attitude, type of offering, or something else? God's Day To You, Tamara |
Bible Answer: God setup the system of worship and the one offering requirements a lamb without blemish. Able brought the sacrifice that showed his faith in God's plan to send his Son to die in the guilty sinner place. Cain brouht the produce from his Garden, He could have asked Able, his brother for a Lamb. So Cain Offering was Bloodless. Meaning he had not respect for the promise Deliverer. so the answer to your question is all the Above. Cain in a sense like some today wondering why God dismissed his parent from the garden which was still there cause they came there to offer their sacrifices. |
