Bible Note: Dear Tamara, I believe that I have an answer. I read your question, and I remembered that during my studies, I had come across something that stood out. It stood out so much, in fact, that I wrote some notes on a "stickynote" and put it on the page. I would like to direct you to Psalms 51: 15-17. Then to 54:6. In 51: 15-17, the psalmist tells us what God truly desires from us, his children. 54:6 I have chosen to add because, I believe, the psalmist is giving us an example of what state of mind we should be in when giving sacrifice to God.
