Subject: God's Regard for Cain's Offering? |
Bible Note: Hello Stoneslinger, Read my note attached to to AMO14's, I listed two verses. I don't think that God rejected Kains gifts because there was no blood. God had made Abel a shepherd, and Kain a farmer. If you read the story in Genisis, the author goes through great lengths to tell about the care with which Abel chose his sacrifice. He did not do so with Kain. Which seems to intimate that Kain did not show much (if any) care in his selection of sacrifice. I agree that it was an issue of heart and not of meat vs. veggies. Abel gave his best, Kain did not. |
