Subject: Who created evil? |
Bible Note: Hello, Sal. Up to now I've been quite content to read this ongoing thread without feeling inclined to splash into such deep waters. Even now, I'll be terse and toss out into the waters only a couple of small wafers that I invite you to sample. On the first wafer appears the inscription, "Why would a Holy God need evil in order to carry out His will?" And on the second wafer is inscribed the question, "Is there a distinction to be made between God's knowing what will happen and His causing it to happen?" And, Sal, note the fine print on the back of each wafer that says: "Please don't speculate but instead give sound biblical evidence to back up your answers." Cordially, and fraternally in Christ, --Hank |
