AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, "Can it really be that God has said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?" [Rev 12:9-11] |
Subject: Who created evil? |
Bible Note: Brother Radioman2, Thank you. I had a wrong approach that is why I can't understand. This is what made it clear" "It is helpful, I think, to understand that sin is not itself a thing created. Sin is neither substance, being, spirit, nor matter. So it is technically not proper to think of sin as something that was created. Sin is simply a want of moral perfection in a fallen creature." I have read the posts under "evil" as suggested by Searcher56. I think most of those asking questions have the same approach of looking at sin the way I did. Please correct me if I am wrong. If Eve did make the right choice, there was no sin consequently no evil. The wrong choice remains in the serpent's mouth, never to become a sin. And the same goes to Lucifer when he made the wrong choice. Funny, I thought I knew the Bible. God Bless Ngop |
