Bible Question:
did god create evil |
Bible Answer: Greetings. I was taking my time to read all the replies for this and could not help myself but to add a bit to the conversation. God created the POTENTUAL for evil, he did not create evil. He created free choice to all people. Why would he do such a thing if he already knew the results? The answer my friend is without choice, there is no possible chance for love. How can love exist if we are not able to choose it? I saw the bible verses that say God created both good and evil and there are many that are in the bible. But you have to remember it’s a way of understanding Gods character in human terms in both their days and our understanding. For creating free choice, he must give us all choices, thus creating both good and evil inside us. So you much separate the distinction between creating evil and creating the potential for evil. God respected man enough to give us the choice to choose our destiny. Weather or not we wish to follow God and depend on him and be close to him for eternity after physical death, or to follow our own lives and to be separated from him after our physical death, being true death in Hell. |
