Subject: Is Genesis 1:2 the fall of satan? |
Bible Note: This is a continuation with more scripture. 3) When did satan fall like lightening from heaven? Jesus, the Word of God, mentioned Satan's fall, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven" (Luke 10:18). Lucifer was also part of the Holy government. On the Holy Mountain with God just like Moses coming before God (Ex. 24:10,17). Lucifer was God's representative on earth before Adam. God says, "By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones" (Ezek. 28:16). Lucifer and the nations chose to turn against God between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2. God says, "How the oppressor has ceased, the golden city ceased! The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers; he who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he who ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted and no one hinders? "Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. They all shall speak and say to you: "Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?" (Is. 14:4-6,9-10). They, the nations then under Lucifer's rule, knew that Lucifer had authority because he was with God therefore the question "Have you become like us?". He weakened the nations before he was striped of his authority and was thrown out of heaven to Sheol, note not hell. You need to ask yourself when did that happen for the first time, when was he stripped of his authority and kicked out of heaven to Sheol (Sheol location of the death inside the earth). God says, "Your pomp (your pride) is brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you. How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! "How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!"(Is. 14:11-12). 4) Genesis 1 has two Hebrew words that describe two key activities God used in the reconstruction of the earth - Bara (means to Create, bring into existence from nothing, 01254 Strong's) and Asah (means to Mold/Fashion what already exists, 06213 Strong's) - We know that the Word of God is Holy Spirit inspired, go knows Hebrew J - 2 distinct Hebrew words used? In Gen. 1:1 Word says create however in Exo 20:11 it says made - For3588 in six8337 days3117 the LORD3068 made6213 (853) heaven8064 and earth,776 (853) the sea,3220 and all3605 that834 in them is, and rested5117 the seventh7637 day:3117 wherefore5921, 3651 the LORD3068 blessed1288 the (853) sabbath7676 day,3117and hallowed6942 it. 5) When were the Angels created, they weren't in the 6days of Genesis so when? As the Bible is book written for Mankind not for Angels. 6) Where do the Demons come from? They are not fallen angels nor are they humans souls who are there and where did they come from? 7) What is the time period from Gen. 1:1 the creation of earth and the chaos Gen. 1:2, how can we assume it is part of 1st day when the first day came later (Gen. 1:3-4). Is it possible that it was millions of years? 8) When God creates something it is always perfect so why was the earth without form and void, and more importantly why was darkness over everything, could it be that God sent judgement before Gen. 1:3? Jer. 4 talks of the land of Israel being without form and void, this comes after the destruction. Jeremiah uses the same words highlighting this is the result of destruction. "I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; and the heavens, they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, and all the hills moved back and forth. I beheld, and indeed there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens had fled. I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of the LORD, by His fierce anger" (Jer.4:23-26). We know God creates perfection (Deut. 32:4; Ps. 18:30; Is. 45:18). If we say no judgement then why was their darkness? To say something is dark you need to have light to compare it to. Darkness doesn't exist. Darkness only exists when in reference to light so light existed before on the earth or why would God say that darkness was there. Remember God is light and in Him there is no darkness so when He created something light exists so why would He permit it? Think about it He is light and He creates something from scratch Light exists for darkness to exist He will have to create that. But here in His presence there was darkness (Did He create that In Gen. 1:2? No, it was a result of something that happened). In love because we are all need to be rightly divide the word. |
